Mount Pirongia

Over this term and next term room7 and pirongia school are going to be working together to make New Zealand more beautiful. This is all to help children of the future learn more about nature we gathering native plants and we are going to plant them around the out door class room. On our visit to mount Pirongia we had a go at calling in a robin to feed we luckily got to see him. As well as doing that we went down to the out door class room to talk about ways of gathering plants. After this we went on the new flying fox, I really enjoyed the trip and im sure the rest room7 did as well.

 

Creative Writing

In room7 this year we have been doing creative writing, this is when Mr Marquand writes a topic up on the board and we creatively write about it. For an example once we did something you dropped in the toilet so we had to come up with story. Next time your writing a story think of creative words to put in your story.

Kaleidaskope

In room7 for art we looked at kaleidoscopes, kaleidoscopes are  same image just repeated. First we choose our picture which had about 50 on one sheet then we cut them all out after glued them all this bit was the trickest i found i glued a couple round the wrong way.
